REX Property & Home show 2019 calls for Rwandans to invest into home ownership

For the fifth year in a row, REX will launch a four-day real estate event at the ‘Kigali Convention and Exhibition Village’ from March 20th to Mach 23rd, 2019 that is set to put visitors on the path towards owning their dream homes.

As an all-encompassing event, this property and home exhibition will host architects, interior designers, insurance companies, banks, home developers, furniture companies, property managers and government agencies looking to source directly for their latest projects. With a projection of more than 2000 visitors and over 40 exhibitors, the expo will bring together remodeling and building experts from real estate companies like ‘Plut Properties, ROKO construction and Real Contractors to mention but a few.

The show will include walk-through exhibitions, free educational seminars and on-site house demos that will display affordable housing offers and the latest trends in home renovation. As a hub for furniture and home décor, this show will also be a platform for interior designers and furniture companies to put together their creative ideas and design know-how and bring to the Rwandan public the most perfect accents and finishes for timeless modern homes. From floor and wall tiles, storage units and outdoor accessories to kitchen cabinets, wardrobes, sofas, bathroom sinks and faucets and other home supplies, exhibitors will single out the right touches that will instantly revive your home.

This year’s theme ‘The key to your home’ is a call to action for the Rwandan population to spend less money on housing and invest in other life projects.” Owning a home gives you the right to decorate, modify and renovate your home as you see fit” said Lisa B. Marler, the founder of the property and home show in Rwanda. As an interior designer herself, Lisa believes in owning a home you can personalize to your own tastes.

Along with Jati Evora Biague, the managing director, Lisa plans this event every year as an eye-opener for Rwandans to start investing in real estates instead of going through the monthly tension of paying landlords. ’We have invested more than six million Rwandan francs to bring knowledgeable professionals in the real estate sphere, the private sector, banks and developers to showcase their products and services to a buying public” added Lisa.
